DCARA-EDD (Employment Development Department) office’s staff assist clients in acquiring the tools they need to obtain and maintain employment. They teach skills involved in writing resumes, filling out job applications and successful Job interview techniques. Our staff also educates employers about deafness and the advantages of hiring deaf and hard of hearing workers and the accommodations that make the work site accessible for deaf and hard of hearing employees.

The focus of the Employment Services program, in collaboration with DCARA’s mission statement, is to provide information, resources, and tools that will enable:
