The CR department is primarily responsible for working with the community at various events. The department oversees the planning and implementation of fundraising events, community education workshops, lecture series, and senior workshops in five areas for our senior citizens who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Other functions and responsibilities of the department include maintaining and updating the DCARA website which includes regular vlogs that provide information and referral and announcements. The CR department is also responsible for our volunteers and their placement in offices and for events. In addition, the department also is responsible for DCARA publications including the DeafLink newsletter and the Annual Report.
