The focus of the Employment Services program, in collaboration with DCARA’s mission statement, is to provide information, resources, and tools that will enable:

  • Deaf/Blind
  • Hard of Hearing and
  • Late-Deafened
Job seekers to continue to be an integral and contributing part of their community, maintain their sense of dignity, enhance their sense of well-being, and improve the quality of their lives.

  • Progress follow-up after 30 days of employment

  • Employers and job seekers functioning within DCARA’s 14-county region in the northern California greater Bay Area
